In the second week of term 3 we did a creativity challenge. The challenge was that we had to package a feeling. We had to show it but not directly. We got in a group of 4.

Our package was supposed to look like a part of a house. At the bottom was the living room and up the top was a bedroom and on top of that was a roof.

Paper for looks

A pin for a door handle

Pegs to hold the roof on

Rop to hold the roof on

Blue silicone for looks

Hot glue to stick things together

Fabric for the bed

So That is My Wish List

This is where our story begins.

It all started the day I wrote my wishlist for Christmas in 2017. For four nights I lay on my bed with my eyes open trying to fall asleep. I was ECSTATIC and could hardly wait for Christmas Day.

On Christmas morning I sprinted as fast as The Flash down stairs to my Mum and Dad’s bedroom. Wake up, wake up I kept shouting.

`I tugged and pushed my parents towards the Christmas tree but… there was a ton of little presents and one gigantic gift sitting behind the tree with a chandelier swinging slowly over the gigantic gift. I was desperate to open the gigantic gift but… Mum and Dad said I couldn’t because my brother Brayden and my sister Jess were not here yet.

I did not, I repeat I did not, take my eye off the gigantic gift. I didn’t leave my chair. It was soooooo comfortable. Ding dong!!! Yes finally Brayden and Jess were here. I ran enthusiastically to the door, opened it and there were two packages that said “OPEN NOW” in a weird font. I snatched them from the doorstep and as I looked excitedly at them I realized the font was the same as the wish list.

I teared through the gifts and closed my eyes and reached in the box and thought to myself what could be in it and there was a lego set in both of the boxes. Then Brayden and Jess opened the door and surprised me. Now Mum and Dad let me open the gigantic gift and guess what was in it a real VELOCIRAPTOR  everyone ran away and I was terrified.
