Mud run

Dear diary,

Last week I was at Green Pastures Camp and there were a lot of activities but there was one that stood out to me... the mud run. At first I was wondering if it was going to be disgusting or awesome. Then Mrs Denison said "Off you go!"

I went down the slimy mud ramp, through the slippery muddy water and around the dried mud path.

Now the next obstacle. The tree. I stepped into the water and fell in. I think I got some in my mouth but anyway I climbed over the tree and into the mud. I managed to get myself into a bit of a sticky situation! I struggled for what seemed like 10 minutes then finally I got out. But it wasn't over yet.

There was more water and mud to get through. My Dad threw mud at me then I threw mud back at him. Mr R told me off but I'm pretty sure he was laughing on the inside.

Then the most challenging part. The deep end. I swam on top of the mud and finished it! I was exhausted and proud of myself for getting to the other end. Once was enough for me though, I just wanted to jump into the lake!!

It was an awesome experience!
